Today's Weigh In

Today was another weigh in. I didn't make it to the gym, because I had some yard work to get done while it wasn't raining, so I took advantage. Anywho, today's weigh in showed my constant progress, and made me happy. I weigh 306.4 today. Woo hoo!

Weigh In

Just a quick post today. Since I made Monday my official weigh in day, here we go for weigh in #2. I hopped on the scale, and it says I am now sitting at 309 lbs even. So a loss of just over 1lbs. I always hope for big numbers, but they say that 1-2 lbs is healthy, so I need to be happy for this success. WOO HOO!

Official Weigh In

Today was the official weigh in for the Biggest Loser competition at work. My team, the "Anti-Twinkie Coalition" weighed in at 1020 lbs. That's 4 people together on a pallette scale. I came home, plopped a new battery in the new scale and weighed myself. Today's official weight is 310.6lbs. Not too shabby, considering I was 318 just a while ago. I've been working out every day, (only missed one day), and have also been working on my shed, which has been a good workout also. I think I'll start weighing myself on Monday evenings, since today was the day I weighed in. If all goes well, I will have lost a bit more weight by next Monday. I'll try to film the weigh in also.  The weigh in's for work are every other week, but I will continue to weigh myself each week to see my progress. I calculated that if I lose 7 lbs every 10 days, I could lose about 64lbs by they end of August. That's a lot of weight to lose in a little amount of time, so we shall see if the eating better and the every day workouts can do it for me. Wish me luck!!!

GOAL WEIGHT FOR NEXT WEEK: 307

One week of success!

Well, I made it through my first week of working out. I'm working out 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, and I seem to really enjoy it now. I can't go a day without doing my assigned workout. I've even gotten the stamina now to do 45 minutes straight on the elliptical. Hopefully I can get that up to an hour soon. Next Monday is our weigh in for Biggest Loser, and hopefully we can do well in the competition. I'm not exactly sure how much weight I've lost so far because the new scale I bought came with a dead battery, but I believe I've lost around 5lbs. Not too shabby.

New Scale

I picked up a new scale today. Hopefully it works a little better than the last one. Video weigh in coming soon!

Where I want to be

So we found a picture of me when I was 19, and I put it next to a current picture (don't mind the costume). Big difference. Hopefully I can get back to the skinny body I had at 19. :)

Another day...

Woo hoo 3 for 3. Not too shabby. I'm still pretty dang sore, but the gym workouts seemed a bit easier. They still hurt, but I felt like I could do them this time. I have Saturday and Sunday off from working out, and start up again on Monday. Since it's Memorial Day, I'll need to go to the gym early, but am looking forward to another good workout. I'm not exactly sure where my motivation is coming from, but I'm glad I am motivated, and hope to continue working out. Hopefully it will help win the biggest loser at work. We shall see.
